Maybe this coming week’s showing of the 1986 film Labyrinth is your best bet in Cleveland. Showing at Richmond Town Square Stadium 20, Cinemark 24 Cleveland, and Southpark Mall in Strongsville at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, April 29 and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1 and 2.

Fathom says:

Frustrated with babysitting on yet another weekend night, Sarah (Jennifer Connelly), a teenager with an active imagination, summons the Goblins to take her baby stepbrother away. When little Toby actually disappears, Sarah must follow him into a fantastical world to rescue him from the Goblin King (David Bowie). Guarding his castle is the labyrinth itself, a twisted maze of deception, populated with outrageous characters and unknown dangers. To get through it in time to save Toby, Sarah befriends the Goblins, in hopes that their loyalty isn’t just another illusion in a place where nothing is as it seems!

Looking to extend the experience? May we suggest the McFarlane Toys Labyrinth: Jareth Collectible Action Figure or Jim Henson’s Labyrinth Firey Plush Figure by Toy Vault? The Jareth figure is seven inches of Bowie awesomeness to adorn a suitable nook or cranny in your home or office. Though not as well, ahem, endowed as the real thing, it is detailed and charming. The Firey plush from Toy Vault is designed to be disassembled and rearranged like a dancin’ fool. It is just one of several adorable Labyrinth offerings from Toy Vault including the adorable worm. Come in and meet the missus.
